i decided today that i'm REALLY glad that i don't watch television. Not that the number of reality TV shows alone isn't enough to make me want to vomit now we have ones mocking the institution of marriage? Now i should be the last one casting this stone perhaps because i know that i'm in the divorcee line too but i mean really... has our country and our culture sunk so low that now we're televising relationships that are probably doomed to fail because people don't know how to get to know themselves let alone meeting someone for the first time and marrying them without knowing them! bah! i guess my objection is just that they're really going off the deep end with these shows and it's disconcerting that so many Americans are watching...
like i said to andrea yesterday... it's funny how reality shows feed the curiousity of the voyeur... but when "voyeurism" is tossed up in front of the American public in some other ways it becomes a subject of scorn and impurity... what a country of hypocrites we are!
maybe it's time to consider moving... first our country is being led to war by dumbass himself, and then you got "reality" TV polluting the minds of our youth and... not so youthful.... What the hell is next?!
